Hello everyone! I’m an international student in my last semester of college and… I have no way to pay for it.
At the moment I need around $1700USD to pay for my final tuition of College by January 25.
The reason why I need the money is due to my university raising the tuition cost for this semester due to the school struggling financially (it also decided to raise the cost of the student dormitories). On top of this, my university has taken away my scholarship and financial aid due to the mentioned financial issues, therefore leading me with no options or resources to pay for the tuition. I also have other costs on top of this (rent, groceries, bills) and without the help of the scholarship and raising tuition cost, I have no way to pay for both.
Additionally, my family at the moment is in a very hard position financially to help me pay due to my father being in and out of hospitals during the past 4 months or so. (He has been having various health issues)
The reason why I decided to go abroad for my university career is because I believe that by having new perspectives and experiences, you can work towards changing the world bit by bit. My whole university career has been focused on wanting to learn more so I can change the world. I have worked so hard to get to this point. I have enjoyed every moment and I am really thankful for the opportunity that I had for studying abroad for my entire university career. It has been very challenging but that has pushed me to work harder and enjoy every experience and opportunity this has given me. It has helped to grow and develop as a person and I have met amazing people through this experience.
At the moment, I am writing my final thesis on the impact of NGOs in giving humanitarian aid so I can finally graduate and by doing this thesis, it has helped me believe more in the good of humanity
It is my last semester and it would suck so much that I will not be able to complete it due to this issue. I’ve come too far just so it would end like this.
I know that it’s probably a lot but I would be happy with whatever help I could get.
