hello, I’m not accustomed to writing these types of things or asking for anything from anyone. However, life happens and I have found out it doesn’t ask your permission. My husband and I both worked for the same factory for a little over six years. Last year they had several contracts run out and chose not to rebid on them. So there were alot of cuts. I was one of them. My husband was able to stay, he’s die maintenance and is pretty handy to them. But they cut their hours from 7 days a week 12 hours a day to 5 days a week 8 hours a day. We lost well over half of our income. We have 3 kids between the two of us. He has 2 and I have 3. All teenagers. And they like to eat. ALOT. Keeping everyone fed and keeping the lights on has been a struggle all on its own. Or mortgage lender offered us a modification that INCREASED our payment $300 a month. It went from $1200 a month to $1500 a month. How they thought that was helpful I don’t know. Now we are in foreclosure. I am desperate to stop it. My first marriage was not a good one and I never owned anything of my own before. This is the first house I ever bought and I am heartbroken. I feel like a complete failure. I’ve looked for other jobs and have no degrees or certificates and most factory jobs I’ve found have been over an hour drive one way and only pay around $11 a hour. So I’ve been door dashing for about 4 months. But that’s hit or miss and not always reliable. We need roughly $10,000 to bring it current and stop the foreclosure sell. If you can’t offer any assistance trust me I understand. But if you’re a praying person I’ll take all those I can get as well. Thanks for taking the time to read.
