I am a domestic abuse survivor and I’m autistic (Asperger’s).
I’ve lost a lot of my teeth to the abuse and I’ve been to ashamed to smile. I don’t talk much because of my teeth or lack of them. I don’t date…same reason. I’ve raise three children (also Aspies) and I’m ready to live… I’d like to smile again.
I’ve looked into getting my teeth fixed and its expensive. I barely make it from check to check and don’t have the fund for the procedure. It costs 15k for half my mouth to be fixed and 20k for the entire thing to be repaired.
I can, upon request, take pictures so you can see the damage done. It will be excruciatingly embarrassing but I’ll do it if needed.
