I feel so wrong for being here. There are so many people out there that need help right now, especially those who were impacted by the recent hurricanes.
Life has been getting really rough lately. I have always taken pleasure in being able to help others financially, but now I find myself in a position where I need help. I am struggling just to make ends meet and am getting into more debt because I have had to rely on credit cards to get me by, but now the debt is starting to weigh me down.
Everything is going up. My rent is increasing $150 starting November 1, 2024, and I have to pay $150 to go towards the increased security deposit. My car insurance has gone up (not from my own doing) so much that I have considered canceling it, but can’t because I still owe about $5,000 on my car. I started doing alternate day fasting to help cut the cost of money going towards groceries. It’s been great for weight loss.
I just feel like I am drowning. Mentally, I am struggling. It’s just getting harder to exist. I’m sorry. Maybe I just needed to vent and get this out.
I am looking for other part time jobs and side projects that I can do to bring in some supplemental income. I signed up for multiple delivery services and have been placed on a waiting lists. I have a full time job, so I just need to find something. I have been looking at remote jobs so I won’t have to leave my dog alone all day. Don’t worry, my dog has food.
I am trying to help my daughter, who started her freshman year of college this summer, by paying some of her bills. She doesn’t ask her dad because he has been out of the picture for many years. She is looking for a job on campus right now so she can start earning money.
Life has to get better. I am trying to keep my head up and remain positive, but it’s not easy. I feel like I have to force myself to act like everything is okay. Plus, the holidays are coming up. It doesn’t feel like it will be much of a festival holiday season.
Sorry. I’m done ranting. If you feel like donating anything to help me try to dig myself out of this financial hole, I promise you on my life, it will be greatly appreciated. If you don’t want to donate, I would be grateful for a prayer.
