My name is Terry and I live alone with my dad. He recently had a heart attack leaving only 15% of his heart working. The diabetes has wrecked his life. He has retinol detachment, a severe diabetic case. We’ve seen two doctors and all along we needed to see a doctor that was able to work in a hospital setting due to my Dad’s heart risks. Our last vehicle broke down leaving us stranded. The transmission went out.
My father was is a great man that never drank alcohol nor abused any drugs. He worked his whole life and was married to my mother for 52 years; to see him like this breaks my heart. He can’t see inside of our home because it’s too dark. In the sunlight he can see shadows only. We don’t have family that can take us and the few people we know weren’t available at the last minute.
Thank you for your time, it’s greatly appreciated. I will use the money towards fixing my Dad’s transmission or for finding him another vehicle. He’s still trying to get disability but the paper work and what not takes months. I myself am afraid to leave my Dad’s side and leave him alone. If you can please help.
