I left my job in 2021 and went work free for just over two years lived off of my savings and investments no government help in October 2023 I went back to work at a much lower pay rate but was doing ok then in November 2023 my brother passed away suddenly. I had to travel from Las Cruces NM back to NJ to care of his affairs as his wife had a massive stroke shortly before his passing and she is still incapacitated and has no income. Well I had to max out 2 credit cards between travel expenses and funeral and all that comes with it now i am left with 2 maxed out cards (over $21,000.oo) and i am struggling to make the payments. I am grateful that i had the cards to cover all of the expenses I occurred but now i am really struggling to make ends meet so I am reaching out for help to get back on my feet so i am reaching out to anyone who can help me.
