Hi, my name is Tommy I’m 34 and a single father to a 15 year old son.
I am looking to raise $5000 to ensure a place to live in the next following weeks.
I have endured a series of events that have crippled me financially. I had a roommate leave me high and dry and dissappear with owing over 3000 dollers.
And now I am facing being homeless, well technically I am homeless I was evicted 2 weeks ago but have till the end of the month.
I lost my job 3 weeks ago and have had zero income and I am now penniless. I start a new job today I am a ticked welder and have been since I was 16 years old. Inhave always had full time employment but live on a check to check bases and dosnt alow any slip ups.
I have run on out of options I can’t take out any loans and I am waiting for EI(employment insurance) but I do not think I’ll be eligible. I will have cash flow again in the next couple weeks but it will not be sufficient to get a place to live and pay off over due bills and expenses.
I spent my last remaining dollers on some food for the week and gas to get to my new job. And that will only last a couple days.
I am working on selling all my belongings but have little progress. I understand this is a very hard time for alot of people. And I honestly never would of seen myself in this position. I have defered my car payments and am working on deferring my car insurance but lack the 250 dollers I am behind to be eligible for the deferral.
I was looking through the internet tonight on options and stumbled across this site. I have never attempted this nor has it even been a thought as I have not needed much help and have always found a way.
