Hello, I am devastated. I was with my fiance for 13 years, and 2 weeks before our wedding he called it off. I am disabled and don’t make enough with my disability to pay off the bills from the non-wedding on my own. I own my house and with my disability I have low taxes and a low interest rate so staying in my handicap accessible home is cheaper than renting. I need help paying off my debt of $33,000, and help paying for a roof repair that that insurance says I am $10,000 responsible for. I haven’t even had hot water in my kitchen for 14 months because my ex-fiance replaced the garbage disposal and the hot water has not worked since. I have other small repairs needed for my home as well.
I do pet-sitting to supplement my income and sell nail polish strips and hair products, and if the debt was paid off I would be able to pay my monthly bills with my income without worry. I am still reeling from my fiance leaving me after 13 years and leaving me in such a dire situation. He said he would stay and pay me until June, but he has now changed his mind and will be leaving and says he has his own debt and can’t pay me as promised.
Anything that anyone can give to me would be appreciated and put to good use. I looked into filing bankruptcy but that is over $3,000.00 and I can’t afford that right now either. I still owe $4,900.00 on my 7 year old car with 99,000 miles on it, so paying off the car would also be a huge help. I also have two elderly cats that I inherited when my mother died that require medication. I am hoping to be able to keep them since they are the only thing I have left from my mother.
I’m hoping for a total of $55,000.00 to pay off the debt, the car, and fix my roof and other repairs to my home. If you feel led to help me I would appreciate it so much.
