Hello, I am a Dad, I work full time, a homeowner and I try not to spend above my means.
The Mother of my 3 kids forced me to take action in removing the kids from her house for their own protection back in 2019. They have been through moving to several locations, mental and physical abuse. Since then, she has taking me to court to try to get them back in her house (unsuccessfully) several times each year against the Childrens wishes and the judges advise. This has racked up a very large amount of legal fees. Previous to this ongoing battle I was never in debt beyond my Morgage as I am typically responsible with spending. Unfortunately I am put in a situation were my normal expenses and legal fees surpass my income and am continually falling behind. I don’t want to file for bankruptcy and lose the only place my kids could feel safe and call home. I am not asking help with my normal expenses of life. I am asking for any help you can offer to go toward my growing legal fees. As of now I owe a total of $41,125 and most likely climbing if the pattern continues.
