Hi my name is Jodie I am 49 yrs old and for the majority of my life I have suffered abuse and for the last 2 years I have been in recovery from stage 3 breast cancer. My only family is my 18yr old son who doesn’t live with me and I don’t have many friends as I tend to push people away as I am always afraid of getting hurt.
Even though I have been knocked down so many times and now suffer from Depression/Anxiety and CPTSD I still want to be able to help others.
I am wanting to raise $100,000 as I have been accepted into the university of Canberra next year to study nursing and I would love to be an oncology nurse or a paediatric nurse. So I would like some help with my studies.
Also I would like to be able to buy a new car so that I don’t have to rely on others all the time for my constant transport needs as this continually makes me feel like a burden.
Also I would like to donate some money to the McGrath Foundation to help with the awesome breast care nurses including mine Bethel and also donate to Ronald McDonald House who do amazing work looking after families with ill children.
