My name is Yvette, and I never imagined that I would have to ask strangers for financial assistance.
I am a working mother who has always tried to take responsibility for my family and financial obligations. I have always believed that through hard work and determination, I could overcome difficult circumstances.
Over the past year, I invested my time, money and trust into a business venture that I genuinely believed would create a better financial future for my family. Unfortunately, the business became a devastating financial setback, and I eventually had to walk away.
Although I left the business, the financial consequences remained. I was left with debts, commitments and expenses that accumulated while trying to make the venture work. I also became responsible for property and lease-related expenses that placed additional pressure on me.
I am employed and continue working, but my salary is being stretched beyond what it can reasonably cover. I have reached the point where paying one obligation often means falling behind on another.
I have tried to resolve this situation myself. I continue working, looking for additional income opportunities and exploring ways to rebuild financially. However, rebuilding takes time, while my financial obligations are immediate.
That is why I am swallowing my pride and asking for help.
My goal is to raise $18 000
The money would be used to address my most urgent financial obligations, reduce my debt burden and stabilise my household while I work towards rebuilding my finances.
I am not asking someone to take care of me indefinitely. I am asking for a bridge — a chance to move from this financial crisis towards stability.
I want to be able to provide for my children without constantly worrying about which bill I will have to sacrifice. I want to regain financial independence and eventually be in a position to help someone else who finds themselves in a similar situation.
I understand that everyone has their own financial challenges, and I do not take anyone’s generosity for granted.
If you are able to contribute any amount you can afford, it would genuinely make a difference. If you cannot contribute financially, sharing my appeal would also mean a great deal to me.
I am still working.
I am still trying.
I am not giving up.
I am simply asking for a helping hand while I rebuild.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for considering helping me and my family during this difficult chapter.
