Dear Friends, Kind Supporters, and Well-wishers
We never imagined we would be in this position—writing to ask for help to save our home, the place where we have built our lives, shared our dreams, and created memories we thought would last a lifetime.
We are in urgent need of $85,733 to prevent foreclosure and keep our family from being displaced.
I’m a mother, a wife, and the sole caregiver to a husband living with advanced diabetes and hypertension, and two beautiful children who rely on the stability this home provides. This house is more than bricks and walls—it’s where we brought our children home from the hospital, where we celebrated birthdays and holidays, and where we found peace in the simple moments of everyday life.
Our troubles began in April 2020, when my husband lost his job due to his health issues. Just over a year later, in August 2021, I was retrenched from my job that had become our only remaining source of income. We were already struggling but then came the heartbreaking diagnosis of my mother-in-law with cervical cancer. As her caregivers, we used all our savings to support her treatment until her passing in January 2023.
With the loss of income and mounting debts, we have reached a breaking point. We have sold belongings, taken odd jobs, and cut back on every possible expense. But it hasn’t been enough. We can’t afford my husband’s medical care, our children’s school fees, or even basic necessities—let alone keep up with the mortgage.
If we cannot raise $85,733 in the coming weeks, we will lose our home. Our children will lose their sense of safety, and we will lose the place that holds our family together.
We’re not asking for luxuries—just a second chance. A chance to rebuild, to keep our family safe, and to stay under one roof.
How you can help:
- Donate whatever you can—no amount is too small.
- Share our story to help us reach more kind hearts.
This is the hardest thing we’ve ever had to do—ask for help. But today, hope rests in your hands.
With love and gratitude,
