Here is our story. We have been living in an apartment for 3 years, but with the death of my father a year ago, we have been struggling to pay the rent regularly. As the eldest in the family, I was barely managing to pay the rent, but the company I was working for laid me off 5 months ago due to economic reasons. And everything went downhill from that moment.
The landlord is threatening to evict us if we don’t pay the rent by April 22th. I don’t know where else to turn, so I’m begging for your help so that we can still have a roof over our heads. We owe 3 months’ rent totaling $1200.
