Following the aftermath of Hurricane Melissa in Jamaica there were some damages suffered to my house and to my parents house as well. We are currently still without electricity and running water and it has been a struggle for my parents and my wife and daughter. I am currently not in Jamaica as I work in another country but I am travelling in a few days. I need some assistance with funding as I try to get some repairs done to the house and to aid in trucking water to fill up drums so we have water to use. The estimate for the material needed for repairs plus the cost to have the repairs done amounts to approximately US$5,000.00.
