hello there everyone. i am a university student who majors in computer science. ever since i was a kid, i was obsessed with computers and how they work, so naturally i spent a lot of time on my computer (which ran windows xp back then). I also started learning Javascript once i got into high school, but unfortunately my studies got in the way and i couldn’t finish the course i was taking online. after i took my university entrance exam, i got accepted into the major i had always loved, computer science. the first semester went really well and i started learning a new programming language along with Javascript. However, during the second semester my laptop completely gave out on me. I took it to multiple repair shops but unfortunately 1. the battery dies on me pretty quickly and i can’t use it during my classes (we don’t go to a computer lab for coding classes unfortunately) and 2. since it is an older laptop, most tasks are really hard for it to run.. it takes forever for me to use chrome with another program and it gets really frustrating. i unfortunately do not have a job as of now and the economical situation in my country is horrible. my family can’t really afford to get me a new laptop and as a last resort, i found this website. i hope that people kind enough could give me a helping hand. one day, when I get a job, i will give back to people.
thank you so much for reading my story.
