I am currently unemployed and live at home with an elderly parent and baby brother. I often do online jobs, but they do not come easy or don’t pay much at all. I’m asking for funding so I can fix up our car and start as an uber driver. I have the required driver’s licence to transport passengers and received my police clearance certificate. Our car has been standing around for months, so it needs a new car battery, tyres, licence disc and a wire that was cut.
I would like to uber as it would be the quickest way I can earn money with flexible hours, and I would be able to take care of my mom. As I am unemployed, my elderly parent does not receive enough money from the government to cover her medication and daily food costs hence the ask to assist with fixing our car and some funds to keep us going until our car gets fixed.
