I am Victoria , from Nigeria in West Africa. I hold an offer for an MSc programme in Chemical Engineering at Greenwich University in the United Kingdom (UK) for the 2025/2026 academic session.
I am writing to seek for your financial support to enable me proceed with the aforementioned programme this year because I do not want to miss this session again. Hitherto, I have deferred my admission twice since 2023 for the same programme in the same university due to inability to secure funds (scholarship or grants) for my studies. It breaks my heart each year when I try to save for studies yet unable to proceed for studies due to inadequate funds as my saving turns out to be too meager for such purpose. I then realize that, if I have to save from my salary to advance my academic pursuit, I might never be able to go back to school, hence this plea for financial support.
However, if I am able to make some deposit payment for my Tuition before 15th April, 2025 (new deadline), I will have a discount of Four thousand Pounds (£4,000) from my Tuition fee (£17,000) which will go a long way to reduce my financial burden. This situation has really caused me sleeplessness since it is glaring that I cannot meet the deadline (which is just a couple of weeks away).
In view of these, I will need a sum of Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000) to assist me in securing my admission and the above discount so as to begin preparing for my studies this September, 2025. A quick and favourable response (above or below the aforementioned amount) will definitely give me rays of hope and will leave an unforgotten mark of eternal gratitude in my heart. Since I am currently wearing this shoe of financial desperation, I understand how urgent, desperate and frustrating situation like this can be. Hence, someday I hope to be a Donor towards funding someone else’s dream.
It has always been my dream to study outside my home country, Nigeria, in order to learn in an international environment where the standard of education is high so that I can keep myself abreast with current trends in my field and in return, contribute my quota to tackling global issues in my field. But reality is gradually dawning on me that, I might never be able to achieve this, especially with the high currency exchange rate (Naira to Pound) if I do not get the needed help. I do not have anyone to turn to for help at this moment- my Daddy is late, my Mummy is not financially buoyant and my siblings depend on me for supports. I really hope to receive a kind and favourable consideration towards supporting my tuition fee payment. May God richly reward every giver!
