Hi there,
I am a middle aged man and lost my job at the beginning of November as a result of unfavourable working conditions at my previous position. I’ve been looking for a new job for the last three months, but I keep getting rejected from all that I apply for, or don’t hear back at all. I am in danger of losing my rental home because I am unable to keep up with the payments. I have utility bills that are also due, and as Christmas is coming, not many businesses hire around this time. The majority will begin to hire early in the new year.
I would like to try to raise $10,000 to help pay off my debt and keep my rental until the new year. I believe this will help pay my rent for a few more months and bring my utility bills under control, such as electricity and gas. I am hoping to also be able to replenish my pantry as well. This would also make it easier for me to get to interviews, as I take public transportation there. I’ve been attempting to see if I can sell any of my belongings to raise funds, even though I don’t have anything valuable.
Additionally, I have certain health issues that require me to see a doctor every few weeks, which is making it difficult for me to maintain a stable career. I really do feel like I’m at my breaking point, and I’m not sure where I’ll be in a few months.
I would be very grateful for any help, as it would enable me to try to put my life back on track.
