Hi,
I did not expect that this idea would ever occur to me, but I decided to give it a try. They say that if you don’t try, you won’t do anything good for yourself. Everyday life brings with it different challenges and I believe that each of us fights our own battles in our own way, I will briefly tell you about mine.
I am not someone who throughout life complains about the impossibility or life circumstances that led to the fact that you have to work alone and earn money for yourself and your needs without anyone’s help. I was born in a family where money was a luxury and there was not a lot of it. I am grateful to my parents who managed to finance my first year of university education, after that I realized that life in a big city (far from home) is a jungle and I have to fight alone. This did not demotivate me, but forced me throughout my life to start working very hard during my studies and strive to become independent and have my own source of income.
Given that I come from a small country, relatively poor and with low wages, some major progress in terms of much larger savings is impossible. At the age of 29, I managed to save up money to pass the driving test, which costs 700 euros (that price is even higher now), while the average salary in my country is about 550 euros – the same amount as mine. With that amount of salary, it is possible to pay the monthly rent of the apartment, pay the bills and manage to save some 50 euros per month…
In addition to my regular job, I try to occasionally work online through Telus International. Due to the lack of time on a weekly basis, I am able to earn about 50 euros per month in this way (10 hours per month).
My story actually started because of passing the driving test. :) Based on what is written above, it can be concluded that maybe I don’t need a car, but I have set myself the goal of buying it by the end of this year. It would not be a big car, but rather a smaller, city car, whose maintenance I can afford. The distance from work to the apartment is short, 5 km in one direction, which would mean that on a monthly basis I would spend a little more on fuel than the amount I pay for public transportation.
Owning a car today means both security and independence. Is there anything better than an unplanned weekend vacation with friends, a trip to nature, a lake or a nearby mountain?
In the previous period, I researched different websites and managed to find cars that I liked and put them on my wish list. The models are a bit older because newer models are much more expensive. The models I researched are: Ford Fiesta; Toyota Yaris; Fiat 500; Opel Corsa D; Fiat EVO. The average age of these cars is about 12 years and their selling price is between 3500 – 4000 euros.
I am aware that this amount is very large and that I would not be able to finance it on my own. There is a great possibility to take out a loan in the bank, however, and for that I would need a certain deposit. I can say that I have a great desire to fulfill my goal and I try to stay positive and think that my dream will come true one day. If there is a good soul who could understand my needs and desires, I would be very grateful.
Dear stranger if you are reading this, I hope you know how I feel. Thanks in advance for your time and help. If there is any possibility for this kind of gift, I am forwarding my PayPal:
