Hello,
I am 28 and I need help buying a mobile home and paying off my loan and credit cards. The building I currently live in was a bank built in the 70’s. It has a flat roof that leaks and no shower, I have to go to my parents house to shower and do laundry which becomes difficult when their road floods and is closed.
I work as a cook at a movie theater and I love my job,but after missing 2 weeks of work because of exposure to covid though not actually getting it and another week when my grandfather passed away I fell behind on bills and messed my credit up by not paying on my credit cards for a couple of months, which I know is not very smart but I had to pay my electric and water and put gas in my car .
The first part of my plan if I can get help would be to pay off my debt of a little over 5k which seems like a small amount to other people but it wipes other my paychecks and leaves me asking family for gas money and the stress of it has me barely eating until I can’t stand the hunger. Which I have food my parents and grandparents make sure of that.
The second part of my plan is to get a decent used mobile home and get it up to city code which requires underpinning as well as a front porch and a back porch. Plus any repairs it may need and hooking up the utilities.
If there is anything left over I will likely use it for maintenance on my car. It is 18 years old and really showing its age. The transmission leaks and it has a bad ball joint near the front passenger side tire and it is my only means of transportation. I had to get it last year when my truck died, half way through paying it off and the first month of a new job.
I’m not good at writing or talking either but I have put my request in words as best as I can and I really hope some of you will help.
