A long time ago when I was little around four years old I use to live with my mom and our life as family was terrible she was always drinking some strong liquor at this point she would start screaming at anyone who even looked at her and she had an abusive boyfriend who would hit me every time he was angry or intoxicated during that time in my life it was pure hell I had no love or respect as a kid but than one day I met a very kind elderly lady later I found out the lady was actually my grandmother because my mom called her ma months later my grandma became my new family as well as my guardian because of my mom’s abusive nature my grandma showed me respect an also loved me just as I was she also took me to school and she would take me with her whenever she would go to fun places like Downtown or the mall in my eyes she was more of a mother to me than my real mother she one time told me the same thing about me how I was more of son to her than her real son years later I noticed she started to have less energy than she normally would have she couldn’t go to places like Downtown or the mall because she would be tired after going a block or two around the time I entered high school her health got badder so she had to go to dialysis three times a week whenever she got out I would give her an orange to eat since she was tired of staff filtering her blood for hours four years after I graduated from high school an the coronavirus started closing down schools I came home to my grandma with my high school diploma should was really happy for me a couple months later my birthday came up I woke up at two in the morning I went outside to check on my grandma without realizing what day it was she told me happy birthday you finally turned 18 years old now later that day the rest of my family went out shopping for my birthday cake I didn’t want to leave my grandma I stayed home and watched her she was getting worse by the day after my party I asked her if she was okay and she told me she wasn’t hungry she just wanted to sleep three weeks later she had to go to a hospital for a check up as she was leaving in a ambulance she looked back at me and started to cry saying that she didn’t want to leave me because she felt like she was never going to see me again I tried to ease her worries but I also felt something was off a couple days later I called her to see if she was okay and she sounded really tired so l keep my conversation short than the next day we got a call from the doctor saying was coming home but for some reason I felt something wasn’t right so I wait next day and another around the fifth day they called back with disturbing news telling me that I have say goodbye to my grandma at first l thought they were lying but as they drive me to the hospital I started feeling nervous when I saw my grandma through a video camera I felt really angry with myself that for not stopping them from taking her away from me after that I went home for couple of hours I later heard she had passed away only minutes after I came back to the hospital I stayed awhile than go home after a couple of hours the next day my uncle comes to my grandma’s house telling me if I plan on moving any time soon which I found very offensive who in their right mind brings up a talk like that after my grandma just passed away the other day then they bring up some bogus talk about our house not being livable which is a lie because my family said that were living here a few years back before I was born in the end I couldn’t save my grandma but I plan on saving her home from my uncle who trying to take it from us they say it’s not livable because the house is old but if I were to restore it that will take away their excuse to evict us to do this I will need $100,000 to restore the entire house any amount is appreciated.
