My name is Brieanne, I’m 21 years old and for the past two years I have been studying very hard attending college, I have been following the cultural norm and striving to get a degree and enter into the ‘real world’. While attending school I have been able to squeeze in a few mission trips that have taught me more about life than any professor sitting in a lecture hall could and I am so happy to announce that I will be taking a year off of school and doing something that I love which is missionary work. I have a huge heart for missions and have had the opportunity to travel to the Bahamas, Peru, Haiti, Nepal, and the Philippines. While in these countries my heart has been pulled in many directions as I worked in clinics, taught in elementary schools, volunteered in orphanages, served the homeless, did hurricane disaster relief, saved women and children from sex trafficking, worked with street kids, built homes, schools, and churches for the poor, and of course preached the Gospel to the world. With taking this year off I will be abroad with an amazing program called the World Race through the organization Adventures in Missions.
The World Race is an 11 month Christian mission trip to 11 countries around the world. One of the unique things about the World Race is that it’s not only a mission trip but also an intensive discipleship program designed to launch my generation into our specific kingdom calling. Through the World Race, my team and I will serve in partnership with churches and ministries in local communities to do a variety of things like preach the Gospel, plant churches, do disaster relief, work in orphanages, minister to women and children trapped in prostitution as a result of human trafficking, and bring the restorative hope of the Father’s love to many tribes and nations. While on the World Race I will be traveling to South Africa, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Malawi, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, Peru, Bolivia, and Argentina.
I will face many challenges all throughout the World Race, but as I prepare for my departure, one of my greatest challenges is my financial support. Like most other missions organizations, World Race participants are required to fundraise financial support. In order to leave fully funded August 1st 2019, I need to raise $19,200. This money will cover all of my field expenses for the 11 months of the trip. As I take this large step of faith in trusting the Lord, would you prayerfully consider joining me and making a donation to support me on this crazy journey, or even consider sharing my story with others! The easiest way to donate is through my blog with the link provided, donations are even tax deductible or using paypal! https://brieannekluck.theworldrace.org/
