Hello reader!
If you are reading my story, I am thankful for your time spent.
Last year I had to take a huge decision by leaving my job immediately and start a new chapter of my life. I was a banker, loved my job and really gave it all I had. I belt my career through 8 years and a half of learning and hard work. I started as a teller and dug my way to the next position. It was such a nourishing learning experience and I gained with it many good relations at that time. Throughout my banking journey, in January 2020 I opened a business. It was a small restaurant. However, Covid-19 hit and the close down happened. Then, the situation worsen with the business and my only choice was to sell it. And I did, for less than what it worth, because it was a new business and not very much profitable at the beginning. And I got stuck with around $150,000 personal loan paying it as a monthly installment from my salary. I was ok then, until few months before my resignation in February 2022, and just few months after I got promoted. My manager was not ethical at her job and did many wrong things and she tried to pin it at me, as I was considered new to the position. As my duty, I reported her doings to the higher management, and this escalated very fast. So, they started to prepare a termination plan for me. And I got the word from one of my line managers. But it was too late as they already started to take actions against me. Instantly, I applied my resignation to avoid being terminated, which will make it very hard to apply for another job later.
After resigning my beloved job, I looked for a new one, but without any luck. I couldn’t find any vacancies at the banking sector, so I had to switch to whatever is available. I kept looking for about 11 months. Until, luckily, I found a job at the at the educational sector. The only issue was the salary was way less than the previous one. Also, sometimes they don’t pay a full salary or not at all, because I’m still new to the job and have not completed a year with the new employer.
My situation is stable, job wise. Yet, financially is getting more difficult each day. With the rising interest rates my loan is accumulating each month, made the loan to reach to $169,000. And my net salary is getting less than $1,200. In addition, I was informed a week earlier that I won’t be paid for the month of August. Which got me really frustrated and very much stressed to think about how I will pay my $3,840 installment next month! Therefore, I’m reaching through this website, full of hope, to whomever reading my story and would like to help with either paying next month’s installment or the entire loan, I would be grateful and very much thankful for whatever aid I can get.
