I’m raising funds to help with gas to get to South Carolina for an amazing job opportunity we have. We have the opportunity to work our dream job and it’s 1,916 miles away.
It’s been a little over 3 months since my fiance and I started Vanlife. We bought our van and vehicle with money we have saved up, a 1996 Chevy Astro. We started fixing it up and converting it little by little into a tiny home.
We stayed in town and both worked our normal jobs while living in our van. The weekend of Easter we went up to Cottonwood. It was amazing and beautiful. We really didn’t want to go back down to the valley but we did for work. We got back into town and 2 days later as we’re driving to work, we were turning left almost completed our turn and someone hit us right behind the tire on the passenger side. Yes, we’re okay and the van is okay and drivable. The damage is minor and fixable. We took it as a sign that maybe we shouldn’t have came back. The next week after that, was the hardest week honestly. It was going to be our last week at work and in the valley. Exactly a week after we got into an accident we took everything out of storage, loaded our van up, said our goodbyes, and left for Cottonwood again.
We’ve been in Cottonwood for almost a month. We’ve been working odd jobs and selling some stuff we don’t need to survive.
We applied for a pretty awesome job opportunity in South Carolina. This is the perfect job for us. This will help us survive.
I want to thank you ahead of time for reading this and if you don’t decide to help out, I will not be offended. If you do help, there will NEVER be enough words in this would to express my gratitude and appreciation.
If you decide to donate, we will make a plan to stop by and personally say Thank You. We will also show you The Van
Thank You for you time. :)
