Hello anyone who cares to read this. My name is Kyle and I’ve exhausted so many options and just trying anyway to get ahead. Currently I’m about 165k in debt and even though I’m trying it seems I can get ahead. I was left with the bulk of this when my ex and I split, she had run up some credit cards and a loan using my info. She also used our house and finances to keep her grandmother in hospice in our home during COVID. We split up shortly after that and I was stuck with these expenses and she then took me to court for child support, which I didn’t mind but she essentially gets $1600 a month from me and doesn’t appear to ever want to help with the lingering debt she left me with. I’ve started a new family and my wife an I work hard but still can’t seem to catch up. My parents are aging and ill and my wife’s father has been going through chemo for the last, almost year. And even though we don’t have much we do what we can to help them all out, I know we shouldn’t but neither of our parents have anyone else or anywhere else to turn. We have both been working overtime, we don’t have anything lavish, we’ve sold off anything we have of value to help with all of this and really have reached them end of ideas. I’m actually not expecting this to yield any sort of results but I figured, why not. Any little bit helps to hopefully get us out of the hole.
