Thanks in advance for for any help 💛

I’m in the worst position I can be in, and I’m desperate for help, which is hard to even say out loud. I’m a mom to an incredibly sweet, kind, thoughtful, creative, loving and generous, autistic child. He’s been bullied relentlessly since he started school by teachers, kids, coaches, and administrators. Kids have been so nasty to him in every way you can imagine, but recently, they went way overboard. They collectively decided to pretend he committed a crime, and he was arrested and charged, and though the police were informed that he has autism, he was locked in a cell for 4 days and nights without his medications. I finally raised the money to get him out on bond, and then 3 years of absolute terror ensued. I had no money for a private attorney, so my special needs son was looking at being locked up for 40 years. I can’t imagine what’s wrong with the children who did this to my son. For over 2 years, I continued to ask, as his public defender supposedly did as well, for the ‘evidence’ against my son, but was not given any information. After over 2 years of missing what little work I had, finally losing my job over it, paying for gas and parking to go to court every month, sometimes twice a month, paying for clothes for my son to look presentable in court (he has sensory issues and only wears shorts and tshirts, even when it’s cold outside), and being absolutely horrified at the thought of my innocent son being locked up for decades, I sold my house and got him an attorney who agreed on a fee of what little I was walking away with after the sale of our home of 14 years. Thankfully, the attorney was able to get his hands on the ‘evidence’ and we found out that there was not one shred of evidence against my son to prove him guilty, and the ‘evidence’ actually exonerated him completely. Whywould a DA have taken this as a case? Though I knew from the get-go that he was innocent, the DA was making offers after 2 years of going to court dates, for my son to spend decades in a cell and all kinds of additional nonsense, KNOWING HE WAS INNOCENT! I should be able to sue her! I should be able to sue the families of every kid who lied about my son to get him into trouble knowing he was innocent. I’m just grateful to have gotten my son help before things became unfixable. By the grace of God, he is still with me, and safe. We are now homeless, and without a vehicle, bc it was 17 years old, breaking down, having transmission issues after all the trips downtown, and I can’t afford to fix it. We’re staying with a relative that wants us gone asap. I am desperate to get us a home, and provide minimal furnishings, as I’ve also lost my storage unit that I obtained when I sold my home, because I could no longer afford the bill after losing my job. I cannot express how this has all affected us. I have ptsd so bad, and I’m terrified to let my son be anywhere without me. He’s a great kid. A smart kid. He’s taught himself to work with power tools. He’s learned to build simple things, and I feel like he’s beginning to move past things, which has been much harder for myself. I’m begging for financial help so that I can start him a lawn mowing business where I can help mow and maintain everything, especially the financial side of things, as he doesn’t really understand money very well. I won’t live forever and need him to learn to maintain his lawn service, but I can’t do that without a vehicle and equipment. Of course a home comes first, as we’ve become a burden this year on a family member who is also struggling. Please help us get into a home and start a business so that we can be secure again. I sincerely appreciate any help, and genuinely wish you all joy and peace. Thank you for your time in reading this 💛
