I am a new, young entrepreneur who just recently quit my 9-5 to start my business full time. I used every cent I saved up to fund the supplies, first few months of rent, and business forms I needed to start up. Business has been going ok for me to just be starting out, but I’m just barely staying afloat. I’m not really making any profit from my business at all. I’m making just enough, if not a little more to pay the rent each month. Don’t get me wrong, that’s still good because that means I can keep my business running, but I don’t have a consistent income and I have other expenses that I have to pay on a monthly basis as well. The main one is my credit cards. I have almost $22k in credit card debt and I have to make over $600 in monthly payments. I find myself having to do extra gigs or find things to sell so I can scrape together the money to ensure I make the payments on time and don’t get penalized on my credit score. I know a lot of people have credit card debt, and it’s nothing out of the ordinary, but with me starting a new business full time and only making enough to keep my business open, its very difficult for me to come up with the extra money to make the payments right now. We are a very small nonprofit registered in the USA doing small charity projects with the homeless primarily. Recently we registered in the country of Kenya with the aim of helping various tribes such as the Massai, Samburu and Pokot. As a result of our efforts a building was donated to us to assist the Massai tribes in Kajiado heading towards the Tanzania border. Our aim is to assist with Malaria which peaks during the month of April, assisting pregnant mothers, TB and other daily health challenges. without this the nearest medical facility is approximately fifty miles away. I started the program but withdrew three months later due to covid-19 pandemic. The school had contracted a third-party collection agency to fetch their money. I could not also make any payment due the overwhelming situation at that time.
I wasn’t making enough due to the pandemic.

2) Personal loans: I secured some loans from Regional Finance and Oportun Inc to invest in mini a garment factory. Unfortunately, along the line, I lost my job last year so i could not finance the loans anymore. This also
affected my credit score.

3) Credit card: I equally secured a credit card to enable me payment my rent.

The total amount balance I owed is $14,833.

We are 2 sisters who were fostered separately. Now, as adults, we have been able to come together again. We did not have the best upbringing and received relatively poor education. We wish to better our lives and plan to work together to do that. This includes going back to school and finding a better place for ourselves.

My sister had decided she wanted a child, but upon needing maternity leave, she was fired and has now fallen on hard times not long after. She was told she could not get assistance because she originally used a closed doner (an anonymous doner, who both parties sign a legal agreement, does not give the doner any rights or legal or financial obligations for the child and protects the doners anonymity) for conception. Due to health reasons, she is restricted with work and having a hard time finding a new job in her area. I am personally disabled and despite the difficulties, currently working 2 jobs to make ends meet for my retired grandparents, whom I’m currently living with and myself, as well as to help my sister.

We wish to go back to school to not only enrich and better our own lives but, also enrich and give a better life than we had and that we can currently offer to her unborn child. We are blessed that the school has both of our desired accademics despite them being so different. Our biggest setback is that our school is out of the country and there are very few scholarships or grants for the type of school or for international schools. Most of them we are too old for or are passed and can not apply until next year, for which we have to until later in that year to attend. We would like to go sooner if possible. We thoroughly believe this is the best option for us and the child.

We have already worked out a care plan for the child in the country we wish to study to alleviate financial burden as well as last-minute stress from scrambling to get accommodations. The country in question also has a lot of accommodations that will alleviate the societal stress of my disabilities as well, which is a huge relief for me as the current country I reside in doesn’t have these accommodations.

Because we won’t be able to work right away in the other country, we are hoping to have at least a years worth of expenses prior to going. There is a minimum requirement of $12,000 per person to obtain a visa there. Our combined expenses for school and cost of living will be between $69,000 and $85,000 for 1 year, depending on the location of living.

Long story short.

I was swindled by a car dealership that was recommended by a family member and I do not know what to do.

Lost my first car in 2005 in a natural disaster and insurance would not pay for it.

Years went by I had the money to get another vehicle atleast two times over but family obligations was first and foremost.

Now almost 19yrs later Christmas 2022, I was finally able to gift myself a car, fell in-love with at first sight I went straight to the dealership and put all, I had in cash down on it, I was even able to pay the state and federal taxes right then and there (which was a little over $5k) I would start to make payments on time and then June 18th, 2023, 5 days shy of 6 months with the car. It stalled on the turnpike as I was going home from work. I was able to get it towed home but not to a mechanic, but a very kind Lyft driver used his AAA to send it to the named dealership on the document and the diagnosis i way more to fix than it would be to just buy another car. Truthfully, I do not want to fix it. I want to give it back to them and I am asking if it is at all possible could you help me get a new car off a real car lot. With God’s and your help I will make my payments on time.
