Today our bills/debts have become overwhelming to the point where we are just going further and further into debt.. we pay our monthly bills but with interest rates so high our monthly payments are paid but our debt is just staying the same, and in some cases growing.. Mostly it’s our credit card debts that are stopping us from making substantial payments to bring down and pay off our mortgage.. I work from home doing crafts to sell, trying everything I can from online so I can continue to work from home, or doing the odd hair services part time, as I have a brain injured adult son I care for from a past relationship to which his father is passed (without any financial support for my son), and my husband works 3.5 hours away from our home full time, so we only see him on the weekends (unless he works overtime, then we don’t see him in person sometimes for over 2 weeks or more) and his paychecks are only a portion of what he is actually paid because the mortgage payments take a huge chunk out as well as his fuel costs.. We have a house we want to sell but the interest rates at the banks seem to be hindering our progress there, buyers are shying from purchasing at this time. The last renter we had caused lotsa damage and caused a huge cleaning bill, we are now so leery of renting out.. as we just can not afford anymore damages. I am asking for help to avoid losing everything we have worked so hard for over the last 20 yrs of our lives so that we could be comfortable in retirement to which my husband has only 4 more years… but he is tired.. It pains me to see him work so hard for just pennies and he is getting tired and his age is really showing (he has no clue I am reaching out for help).. I am only asking for help with our credit cards.. With those gone we can start putting larger sums down on our mortgage and plan for it to be paid before retirement, so we can hopefully enjoy some of life before it’s over.. I know this is a long shot but it was suggested to me to at least try so that is what i am doing.. Our debt is over 300,000, but I am only asking for $30,000 so we can pay off the credit card debts. My hope is that this is enough information to catch the eye and heart of those more fortunate than ourselves to see fit to help us in these troubled times that seem to be affecting so many. With that said I thank you in advance and in return send you light and love and brightest blessings! Thank you for taking the time to read our story and take interest in our situation.
