Hi everyone, my name is Hunter. I am 24 and I currently work a low-wage job living in my own apartment I can just barely afford. I was living with my parents for a while but there is not enough therapy in the world to recover from that time in my life.
I have been plagued with financial troubles ever since my ex and I split up. I was left with the lease buyout, the credit card debt, the loan repayment, among other things. I was able to dig myself partway out of the hole, but once I was halfway out, the 0% APR on my credit cards expired and I’ve been battling with the interest rates ever since. This wouldn’t be a problem, but since my ex and I bought a few things together, we unfortunately defaulted on one of our loans and now I can’t get a loan from even the shadiest loan offices. There are a lot of factors that play into my debt, many of which are my own fault, which I am aware of.
One of my credit cards is maxed out at $4,000, while the other is only partway maxed at $1,000. I have a few other smaller debts like the occasional $100 late fee and the $80 hospital bill that remain unpaid because I make just enough to afford rent, food, and my car. I am asking for some financial assistance to help me get my life back in order after 5 years or so of being completely out of control. I am asking for at least $4,000 but I would be happy with anything. I don’t want to hurt someone else’s pockets with my own problems, but at this point, I have nowhere else to turn. Lately, my depression has been taking over because of the money stress, the situation with my family, and a lot of other things. I hate to put it this way, but this money would legitimately help save my life.
On a lighter note, I would like to tell you about myself if you’d like to know. I currently work at a warehouse, moving boxes all day, which doesn’t pay that well obviously. I am also an aspiring musician! I play drums, guitar, bass, orchestra instruments, etc. I like to think I have an ear for the right noises. I am also an aspiring programming and networking student. I’m getting my associates in networking in April (yay for student loans!) and I’m just trying to hold out until then for the hope of a better job and debt repayment. Thank you so much for reading through this, and I appreciate it if you even consider helping me. It would mean an incredible amount to me.
