Hello all! My name is Terese and I want to thank you for taking the time to read my request. I am not one to ask anyone for anything, it is one of the hardest things for me to do, but something told me that I should humble myself and ask around. After all, a closed mouth does not get fed, right?
I am in a weird space in my life and am so badly wanting to start my own business but was not sure just what to do. I have been wracking my brain trying to figure out what it is that I would like to do when I came across an ad for a Glowforge Pro, it is a 3D laser printer. Once I saw this device my mind began to go on overdrive thinking of all the creative things that I could make & sell with it. The many possibilities have been on my mind nonstop and I even got my six-year-old son excited about it as he will be my little helper for my business venture.
Now, let us talk numbers. The total amount I need to make this purchase is $7,549.20. The Glowforge Pro is currently selling for $5,995 and I will also need an air filter and the one for this unit is $995, and lastly, taxes are $559. I need the air filter because it will allow me to use the printer in any area of my house, without it then I will have to have the Glowforge vent through a window and I currently do not have space near a window to put it. I have attached a picture of the final cost of what it is that I need, you can’t see the air filter because I could it was lower on the screen but if you do the math with all the numbers I provided you’ll be able to confirm the cost.
The site does offer a payment plan through a company called Affirm. I did apply for this payment option because, you know, I do not like to ask anyone for anything. However, my request was denied. Hence why I’m here. If you find it in your heart to donate anything at all towards this cause it will be greatly appreciated.
