I’ve never done something like this before, and completely embarrassed that I have to do this. So please bear with me.
My goal is to get help with paying off the car loan for my used car and the pay off the balance of my IRS debt for 2017, that would save me nearly $400 a month, which would help me survive until I can get on with one of the at-home transcription companies. I used my Idaho tax refund ($800) on the IRS debt but still owe $2,000.00. I am attaching a photo that shows the balance of my car loan.
I’m a 71-year-old female, who is no longer working. As the job I had ended on 2/21/20, my income has dropped to where I’m not sure I can make all bills (which are not that large in the larger scheme of things). I will be living off Social Security until I can find another job. I have stopped as many unnecessary monthly bills as is possible and that are not necessary. I’ve stopped cable. I have only kept the Internet because I need that for working from home. I got rid of my landline phone. I had Norton LifeLock as my checking account keeps getting hacked, but I let that go also. I have stopped having the outside of my house sprayed with pet and human friendly insect killer, as I have to consider that a luxury item. I have eliminated as many of these types of bills as possible to cut down on my monthly outgo.
I have been looking for a job where I can do transcription work from home since last year. The way things are at this time, I am assuming I will be working right up until I pass on. I will be grateful for any help. I mean, $10 would give me 2 meals at McDonald’s, or soup for my dog for several weeks (to hide her pain pill under), or even refill one of my prescription meds.
I am applying for at-home transcription jobs from various companies but so far nothing.
Total Income as of 3/1/20 is $1,756. Total monthly bills equal: $1,537, This does not include food, gas for car or unexpected emergencies or prescriptions that I am on and both my dog and cat are on. I was putting money in Savings but that has stopped. I also have about $2,000 worth of dental work I need to get done while most of the teeth I have are still mine. I do have private dental coverage but it only pays about 50% of the total cost. But, if the car and IRS payments were gone, I could at least save up for about one dental visit and repair work every couple of months or so until all repairs are done.
Thank you for any help.
