A $3000 outstanding balance on a loan is causing my relationship with my daughter to suffer. I was with my ex for nearly 4 years. I took care of him, his 2 lovely autistic teenage boys, his dog and his house. I loved him with all my heart and thought he was my forever man.
My ex had my family, our friends and myself totally convinced he was a wounded ex marine sniper whom suffered PTSD due to his scout being shot 14 times and killed in Operation Just Cause. He bragged about having a Purple Heart medal. I have been informed recently by legit marines that my ex was never in Operation just Cause nor was he ever in the marines.
Towards the end of our relationship, we both got laid off from the same company and my ex borrowed $6000 from my daughters fiance. Josh, A great young and ambitious kid with a good heart, just bought their first house and are getting married this year in 2020, was kind enough and trusted my ex to pay him back, went to a lending company and borrowed $6000 to my ex under Joshs name.
My ex had promised Josh 3 months after taking out the loan with him that he would pay it back with monies he was receiving from selling his house.
Not even a month after borrowing this $6000, my ex is telling me he appreciated everything I have done for him and broke up with me and to date has not paid off the loan. I have been struggling all 2019 to pay down the loan myself, I have paid half of it off. But I am on a limited income, and I got behind paying these payments to my daughters fiance due to having to catch up my car payments I was behind so they did not repo my car. My car and a tent was my home until the day before our first snow storm in October.
I was a teen mom and my children lived with their father whom barely gave me any access to the children. Now that she is an adult, we have been working and growing with our relationship. She wanted me to be part of her wedding party and her wedding, I was sooo excited. But getting behind in my payments to her fiance I had gone over to their house to try and rearrange some kind of lower payments or something and my daughter kicked me out of her house, her wedding and basically her life right now, she wont talk to me right now either.
This is literally breaking my heart!! I am so sad and depressed I do not want to looose my daughter over monies my ex borrowed from her fiance. I am desperately wanting to pay off this $3000 loan, take the burden off my daughters fiance and be part of their wedding and lives.
My ex has caused so much damage in our family for trusting him, pulling the wool over our eyes, conning us while stealing valour. And to top it off, I recently received a phone call that my ex used me as a reference not even one month after borrowing the $6000 off my daughters fiance at a lending company to borrow another loan. He goes thru life causing all this damage without even a care in the world. Amazing.
Is there anyone willing to help me, I promise to Pay it forward in many ideas I have to pay it forward. One idea as I have access to a huge vacant garden and can grow many vegetables to donate to the food banks or any organizations this 2020 year.
