Hello and Thank you for taking the time to read this. My husband and I are currently $167,000 in debt. We both have full time jobs and are doing our best to get them paid off. However we have 4 sons and a business that we are trying to get off the ground. My husband has offered to get a second job because he is very concerned with what we owe and wants to be able to enjoy his retirement but I dont want him to do that because he would miss everything with our kids and I would never see him. So I am asking for help. The sooner we can get these taken care of the sooner we can start putting money into savings for emergencies and the future. We are not wasteful with our money and any that we receive would be used to pay off these debts and seen as a great blessing to us. These debts plus our monthly bills make it very difficult to put anything into savings or plan for the future. Frankly, I am getting tired of being stressed out about being able to pay for Christmas, Vacations, Birthdays, Groceries (which is a large expense for a family of 6, 5 of whom are male), etc. Having these taken care of would really be the best thing. I will be 31 this year and the ability to focus on my family and not worry about everyday things would mean so much to me. Currently, I spend time everyday going through our budget and bank account line by line to make sure we dont overdraw. To take care of our debts I joined the military last year. I was away from my family when covid started and we weren’t allowed to contact them on a regular basis while in basic, which was terrifying at the time. I ended up getting medically discharged due to a nerve condition that prevented me from completing basic. I tell you this so that you know I have done everything I can to help reduce this debt. I even considered being a surrogate but my last pregnancy was really difficult and wouldn’t qualify. Now I am at a loss. We are repaying everything but it is a painfully slow process and I just really need some help. Please. I would love to be able to tell my husband that these have been taken care of. Every birthday, fathers day, Christmas- all he asks for is that we try to pay a debt off. I just want to give that to him. He has done so much for me and he worries about his ability to retire and not have to work the rest of his life all of the time. It really is a big stressor for us. I know there are people out there in way worse situations than us and if given this money it will not go to waste. Thank you again for your time.
