As we are all well aware of the cost of living these days is making it hard to live. I do not have a fancy degree or job. I work full time but rarely get a full 40 hour paycheck. I rent my friends basement which helps us both financially. The hardest part is that after paying bills there is little money for groceries. I do not have cable or streaming services or any other kind of frivolous services. I barely have clothes in my closet. Sometimes I feel like if I could just get ahead on grocery necessities then maybe I wouldn’t be so stressed about choosing between bills and food. I am obese in part due to food prices. I eat what is cheap and that is not the best option most times. Just to have a chest freezer full of lean meats and healthy food in the pantry would give me some serious peace of mind. I also have two grown daughters and two very young grandsons I try to keep fed too. Just basic needs is what I need more than anything else.
