Hello! So I’m 20 years old male student on my 2nd year of Uni. I’ve so far passed all my exams and am currently on my 4th semester. On my first year I was working in a nightclub (wardrobe section) and was earning decent money for living. But with Corona virus coming, nightclubs all over my country shut down and stopped working. So my job there is still on stand by. After that, my uni lectures were moved online so I moved back to my hometown, and focused on online school and helping my parents out with whatever they needed help with. During summer, after exams I was doing all kinds of jobs in my hometown. Whatever I could put my hands on. Then came 2nd year of Uni and I went back to dorm. As soon as I came here I started looking for jobs, but there was so much people looking for them that it was quite hard to get one. So, my last option was to do food deliveries on my bike, and I was accepted and started doing that. It was going great at the start and I was again earning decent money.. I even bought myself an used iPhone 8 which felt really nice. But then exams came and I focused on that, so I was driving deliveries less, and soon Christmas break came and I went to my hometown for a couple of weeks. Then when I came back I was doing it again until my 3rd semester finals when I focused on them. After exams I went back home again to help my parents and to have some stress free time again. After that I came back and was back on wheels until Easter holidays when I went again home. After I came back I was called to the company office and I was asked why do I work with so much pauses in between. After I explained to them, they said that it does not pay off to them (they were getting 10% of my salary) and I didn’t have any arguments and I just accepted it. Once again I’m without a job and I don’t know where else to look at. I called few ads but it doesn’t seem promising. Also now with like “midterm tests” coming I don’t think I should focus on work, but rather on school.. any help is appreciated!
