Hello, I am a senior at Western Michigan University and I am pursuing my bachelor’s degree in sociology with a focus on social psychology and a minor in social work. I do not qualify for any financial aid, therefore, I have been paying out of pocket for my education ever since I graduated high school. My journey has been long and tough but I have made it so far. I recently had a baby boy and finances have been harder and harder to manage. I am in my last year of university but I have no idea how I will manage to pay for everything. I commute to campus every week and that leads me needing more money than usual for gas and car maintenance. Let alone needing to pay for childcare and school necessities. Books are ridiculous overpriced and so is tuition. I greatly value my education and there is nothing more that I would hate then to have to drop out due to insufficient financial funds. I am so close to graduation and I am seeking all possible options to help me accomplish my goals. I have a 3.57 gpa which is getting more difficult to maintain since I also work part time at my local library. Between driving to campus, working and caring for my child, finding the amount of time needed to fulfill my school duties is super tough. Any help that I am able to receive would be greatly appreciated and accepted with many regards. Thanks in advance to everyone and I hope to keep on going untill all of my goals are accomplished.
