Thanks so much for stopping by to check out my page! I hope you’ll take the time to read my story and if you can help, it would be so appreciated!
I was raped my sophomore year of high school which led me to fall into a really deep depression. My doctor didn’t want to put me on antidepressants for the side effects they can have and we decided to try birth control hoping it would balance my hormones and sort of “self-correct.” It did help a lot, but actually gave me blood clots. I was admitted to the hospital my freshman year of college with three large blood clots in my lungs. I was there for a week and was on two kinds of blood thinners for a year. I couldn’t exercise more than walking to and from class and had a very restricted diet. I gained about 60 pounds, several medical bills, and had to move home. While home, I learned my mom had several new health issues. She already had diabetes and had terrible arthritis. She now has fatty liver disease and her insulin and liver medication fight against each other and her doctor’s are trying to figure out what to do to help. My dad has been working two jobs for as long as I can remember to help pay all of the bills my family has, but he’s getting older and can’t do it forever.. I was able to finish school, but had to take out several loans to get there. I now have about $125,000 in student loan debt and the interest continues to rise. I’ve also maxed out all of my credit cards to pay monthly bills and help my family with groceries. I’m at a point where I’m not sure where else to turn. My credit is not in great shape to try to refinance or consolidate and I don’t have anyone in my life that would be able to help in the meantime. I have a full-time and two part-time jobs and I’m still coming up short every month. I don’t have any more time or energy to give, but I’ll continue to do what I need to to help my family. If you are able to help, you have no idea how much it would mean to us. Even for just a small break for a month. My Paypal link is below if interested. I don’t want this to just be a handout. I fully intend to pay this forward one day and hope I’ll have the opportunity to lend a hand to someone in the future.
