I was blessed enough to get into my dream school two months ago. I have wanted to go there ever since I first visited the campus 2 years ago. I’ve had a job for over a year now, where I’ve been saving up to afford my tuition. My mom put some money aside for me as well, but that wasn’t enough for my first year, not to mention the next three. At this point, I barely have enough for my tuition, and I also need money for my residence. The school is a good two hours from my home, and it would be impossible for me to take the bus to and from school daily. My mum doesn’t want me to live off-campus, so I don’t even have the option of trying to find a cheap place off of campus. If I can’t get enough money to pay for my residence by the summer, then I’d have to either defer my acceptance or go to a community college instead. I applied to one other school closer to home, but sadly the program was very competitive and I didn’t get in.
I have honestly tried everything that I could to get the money for this. My mum doesn’t understand why I even want to go there, so she does what she can to help, but for the most part, the responsibility is mine. I picked up extra shifts at work last month, but pairing that with my schoolwork it has been a lot. Although it’s been taking a toll on my mental health, I’ve still been trying everything I can, and working as hard as I can so I can achieve my dreams. There’s nothing I want more than to succeed in life, so I can help my mum retire, and give us a better life. Life has been tough on us, but she is the most persevering woman I know, and I am trying to follow in her footsteps by trying everything I can to get to my school. I also tried using freelancing websites, but I have barely made anything on there, and my chances are not looking great for reaching my goal by the summer.
It would be a serious blessing if anyone could help me. There is literally no amount too small that I wouldn’t be eternally grateful. My Paypal link is listed below, and I would love the help, if you can. Thank you so much for reading this, and I hope you have a beautiful day.
