Help with Graduate School Loan Payments for 2021-2022

Hi. To be frank, I’m posting on this site to see if people would kindly give me money for out-of-state tuition. I have applied for FAFSA for the 2021-2022 school year but I am worried about the accrued interest coming from the loan payments. Currently I am still job searching because unfortunately there are not as many opportunities in this city that I’d expected. My graduate acceptance was kind of last minute so I wasn’t sure where I’d be until then. And as much as possible, I’ve been doing my best to not touch my savings for anything save necessary. Parental help is not really an option.. there’s a reason I’m out of state.

As for a little about me, I am a first year graduate student at a good university here in the US. I’m working towards a Master of Science in the same major I received my Bachelor of Science in. I’ve just turned 23 now and it’s so odd to realize how much of my life has gone by when there’s so much more to do. I’m an avid cook and a mediocre baker (love doing pies!). Meal prepping on a budget was something newer for me in the past year but I’ve got it down pretty well now. It’s quite enjoyable to spruce up the recipes with a different veggie or protein; I don’t feel tired eating the same thing when it’s fun like that. Walking and hiking day trails are also a fun pastime. There are some lovely falls a couple hours away that I’ve managed to get out to a few times and they’re gorgeous. I have a camera that I love to take pictures with- love me some songbird birds and lots of green scenery. Now I don’t really do sports but I do like slow jogs, which falls in line with my love for nature walks. One of my best friends shares her Netflix with me and a new favorite show of mine is Van Helsing- wouldn’t have thought I’d like it so much but it’s horribly fun. She just recommended it to me after it being suggested to her by one of her friends, and she’s un-patiently waiting for me to catch up to her.  Sci-fi, and fantasy, films and shows are my utmost favorites: Labyrinth, Star Wars, Star Trek, the Alien Franchise, The X-Files, The Fifth Element, The Matrix, The Never Ending Story, The Witcher, and most of the Jurassic Park movies. Mind you I can’t say I’m a Trekkie as I really only have eyes for William Shatner- TOS was so good in my mind it’s probably weird.

To go back to why I’m here, I’d like to throw some numbers out for people to get a ballpark of what I’m asking for. My university’s estimated cost of attendance for me will be about $46,000 for 2021-2022 with all fees included- housing, transportation, books, and any other costs. For the loans that have been estimated, I’m eligible for the federal direct – unsubsidized GP loan ($20,500) and the federal direct grad plus loan ($25,304). With a graduated repayment plan for 10 years, I would start at $238 monthly payments and end at $774. In the 10 year standard repayment, it’s a routine $462. I’m confident I’ll get a job capable of paying for my rent, utilities, gas, and food, but the loan payments seem to be very daunting until I’ve gotten my degree and can apply for higher salary jobs.

If you read this far, thank you for your time and consideration.

If you are willing and able, please send me money to my PayPal to help pay my loan payments for these two semesters.
