My Husband has developed a passion for cooking. He loves baking and cooking to the point where a few years back we enrolled him in culinary school. He thrived while attending school. He loved his classes and professors and was given amazing opportunities to help out with national chef events. But about half way through his culinary program, our daughter go sick, we discovered the plumbing pipes under neath our home were disintegrating (which ended up being a $18,000 repair – because our home did not have a basement or crawl space, the plumbers had to dig huge wholes through our foundation), and we were expecting our second child and were looking at $5,000 in medical costs, plus his NICU bill because he was born with some breathing issues. After all of that hit our family in the summer of 2018, my husband scarified his schooling and transitioned into a stay a home dad role for the following year. While I knew my husband was discouraged about having to put culinary school aside he stepped right up as a stay a home dad and went above and beyond creating day lessons and planning out great development activities and just loved on those kids. After a full year at home with the kids I could tell he just really wanted to be back in a kitchen, but I just don’t make enough money in the education field to fund getting him back in school, on top of daycare costs and every day living expenses, so he has taken a job working in a restaurant. Due to how the sacrifices my husband made over the last year and a half and due to the fact that I know a culinary degree could really open up some great doors for his future I am asking for help in funding the rest of his culinary school. I know I am trying to sacrifice buying things for our family to save up for his schooling and if you’d be willing to join me in making a small dontion to his schooling, I would be forever grateful.
