I am a young African woman seeking financial help to further my studies and advance my career. I am pleading for financial support in the sum of €34,000, to cover tuition and proof of funds for my visa application. I have not had it easy at any point in my life (I know many people can relate to this) and have always strived to get the basic, but life has not been easy, always from one difficulty to another. I have worked for about 13 years and have scrapped and saved every penny I can to advance my studies and support my family, but it has not been easy, given several setbacks, the glaring one being work place issues. It might shock anyone to know that I work for a state government and because of corruption, I and most of my colleagues have only been promoted on paper without the financial benefits in the past years, not because we did anythingwrong or because we are not qualified for the promotion but because we are cheated and cannot do anythingabout it. Reporting this had yielded no results but silence. The cost of living has been going up and my meager salary has remained constant, which has made life more difficult, as I and my family have had to rely on my savings to survive and it is getting more and more difficult as the funds are now exhausted and we are managing to get by. One might advise me to leave the job, believe me, I have tried looking for a new job, but it has not been easy to get one.
I have therefore decided to purse my academic dream to study Public Health. I have gotten several admissions in Europe in the past but have not been able to take up the offers due to my inability to fund them. I have tried to save but with several obstacles that I have had to deal with such as the one above has made it impossible. I have also tried scholarships but have not been successful. I currently have an offer to study in Europe, but I could not take it up this year, and have deferred it to next year. The program expects me to pay my fees this year to secure my place else I lose the offer. I am hoping that I will receive a miracle before the year runs out to enable me make the payment and hold my offer/place. Please help me work this miracle and right the injustice done to me. Please I am a hard worker and I will not take for granted your investment in me. I appeal passionately for your support to actualize my dream and get myself and family out of this difficulty. I hope that this study will give me a chance at growth, opportunities and establishment. I dream that one day I can also contribute to helping others achieve their dreams as well as offering others the benefit of my expertise from my studies.
