I studied BSc Psychology as my first degree and further did my masters in Public health. These were all funded by student finance England as a loan. Since I graduated, I have not been able to get a job based on what I studied hence working as an enhanced security security support worker through an agency contracted by NHS.
Due to the nature of my job, I have developed enthusiasm to become a Mental Health nurse. Because I hold a first degree, I’ll only study for two years on masters level but unfortunately, Student Finance England says they won’t give me a loan since they funded my masters .I currently do not have the means to pay my tuition fees of £9250 a year totalling 18500 for the two years. The course runs on full time basis hence I won’t be able to work for even 2 days a week. This means my rent, bills and living expenses will be affected.
I am therefore pleading on any kind hearted persons who will be able to help me raise the needed amount to pursue my dream and a stable job as my job of 8 years has been 0 hours with less pay. NHS has also reduced the amount of work it giving to agencies hence I have been struggling to get the hours needed to keep me afloat financially. I have 2 dependants and I have been looking for another job but yet to find one. My only escape to stable is to pursue a career my dream of becoming a Mental Health nurse.
