Less than half of single parents receive money from their children’s other parent, In this case, two of the 3 boy’s fathers have past away. there is no child support from the last father, and mom is working night and day to stay float.growing up was a struggle and a lot of pain. I was bullied in school, jumped 3 times and outclassed. to make matters worst, my father’s wife treated me like a step child. she turned her family against ,e.talked about me her own father molested me as a child. but he was only one of many. I was a problem child, but in my defense it came from the consent rejection. so my family aways said I would never make it and id end up dropped out of school with a baby. I showed them. graduated from school with A B honor roll in the 12th grade, and didn’t have my first son until I was 21. Just hold on a sec, I promise I’m getting to the point. Being that I was rejected most of my child hood I started to search for God. I went to church searching for the love of God only to find out that church ppl can be worst then the ppl in the world. (that’s another story for another day. it wasn’t until the pandemic , I started to find God with in. I learn how it felt to be loved by God, not by men. so I studied the esoteric part of the Bible and now I must share it with the world. So, in 2022 I took my 3 boys and moved to the state of Georgia, in hopes of a new start. I was seeking better opportunities in my music career where I teach the love of God, and much more. I’m a spiritual artist looking to rise the conciseness of men/woman. originally I’m a life insurance agent, (no pond intended lol) but sales haven’t been the same since the transition. my water bill has gotten high because of a lack my landlord keeps promising to fix, and now my bills are backed up. school is about to start and I’m in a need of help. Single parents do a brilliant job, but paying the bills and juggling work and family life on our own can be a real challenge. And even though theres no such thing as a typical single parent, nearly three quarters have experienced stereotyping or prejudice. Today, I come to you with a request for your support and generosity. I live in the UK and I work as a freelancer to make a living. The past couple of years have been challenging for many people, in many ways, due to the unforeseen covid pandemic.

During the COVID-19 crisis, my freelance work dried up, and I found myself in lockdown, without any form of income, steady or otherwise. Unfortunately, as a freelancer, I was not eligible for government support, and this led to financial difficulties. Prior to the covid pandemic the changes to IR35 regulation in the UK had had a huge impact on my freelancing work and income level.  To make ends meet and cover my living expenses, I had to dip into my savings, once my savings had dried up, I had to rely on my credit card, resulting in accumulating £18,000 of credit card debt. A debt I need help to clear.

This debt hasn’t been accumulated through pointless and unnecessary spending. It has accumulated over the past three and a half years just through the cost of living, buying food and paying bills. The debt grows each month due to interest charges and the ongoing need for me to eat and pay bills. My situation isn’t unique to me, there are many people, whether single, in a couple or have a family to provide for, who are in the same position as me.

I have always been self-sufficient and looked after myself financially, so far, I have been fortunate enough not to have to rely on government money. I have always had savings for rainy day emergencies; however, those rainy days are feeling a little endless at the moment and I need help to clear this debt so I can focus on starting again.

To add to the complexity of life, my landlord has informed me he will be increasing my rent again, I can’t afford the next increase and I have until the end of August to find somewhere new. I will struggle to find anywhere with my current level of debt, which is why I am now biting the bullet and asking for help from strangers.

The freelance market in the UK has been very slow this year, I haven’t had a client since March so I am back to living off very little money, trying to survive in a cost-of-living crisis. No one’s fault, it simply is what it is.

My name is Zynai, and I would like to share with you my poignant story, a sad tale that has deeply affected me. From a young age, I was abandoned by my father, leaving me in the care of my hardworking mother who laboured for 14 hours a day to provide for my sister and me. Due to our poverty, I was unable to pursue higher education, so I made the decision to work in the restaurant industry to assist my mother and secure a better future for myself.

Life hasn’t been easy for me. I’ve faced numerous hardships that have taken a toll on my spirit. I experienced the heartbreaking loss of my sister, a void that will never be filled. Then, a tragic accident befell my mother at her workplace, leaving her with severe third-degree burns on her foot. These irreversible injuries rendered her disabled. From that point on, I became solely responsible for covering the medical expenses, rent, and bills, as well as caring for my mother. Despite my current job in the restaurant industry, I struggle to afford my mother’s necessary treatments and the exorbitant costs of living.

Desperate to find a way to alleviate our financial burdens, I sought an online job as a chat support operator. They promised me commission-based pay for completing 40 daily tasks. On the first day, it seemed like I could finally earn enough to support myself and my mother. However, everything changed on the second day. I was informed that there were negative data associated with my account, and I had to pay to remove them before receiving my earnings. Hoping to recoup my losses, I paid a sum of £300. Yet, the demands for money never ceased. They asked for an additional £1500, and eventually, another £300 to withdraw my hard-earned money and accumulated commissions.

I have reached a point of despair, feeling trapped in a cruel and unforgiving world. At times, I contemplate disappearing, escaping from this difficult and ruthless existence. However, after hitting rock bottom, I mustered the courage to seek help. It is with desperation that I share my story online, hoping that someone, somewhere, may see the light that has been dimmed by darkness and extend a helping hand.

This is my cry for assistance, my plea for help. I never imagined that I would find myself turning to the web in such a manner, but circumstances have brought me to this point of utmost need. I sincerely hope that someone may come across my story and offer me a lifeline. I am in a truly terrifying situation, and I pray that someone can genuinely help me find a way out of this misery. Although the world can be a harsh and unforgiving place, I hold onto the hope that there are still compassionate souls willing to extend a helping hand to those in need. May my story touch the heart of someone and bring about a positive resolution, allowing me to find the light and hope that I so desperately seek.
