In my youth, I made some foolish financial decisions when it came to my education. My family was poor and rather than working to get scholarships, I chose the route of student loans. I bounced around from school to school changing my major until finally, I walked away from school altogether. That was in 1987. In 2009 I went back to school and decided to actually buckle down and in 2012, I finished my bachelor’s in English and two minors, also, unfortunately, due to my poor financial management skills, on student loans. At the moment my student loans are at $70,609. at 55, I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to pay them off and I do not want to leave these to my wife should I pass. To make matters even more difficult, I serve in ministry as a pastor and my wife and I and our 6 and 8-year-old children are being called into the mission field. Not a lucrative financial field to enter into. To be full-fledged missionaries who can actually live on a smaller income we have to get our debt level way down, and that is just not going to happen anytime soon, if at all. We need a miracle and we need your support. Please, will you help us?
Thank you in advance.
