Asking for a little so I can give a lot..

First off, thank you SO much for taking time to consider my story and investing in me. Let me tell you a little about myself…

In 2010 I graduated with a masters degree from a local University. I work what I consider one of the most rewarding jobs I could have as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Currently, I work with the entire life-span with my youngest patient being only a few weeks old to my oldest is currently 101 years young. I help them speak, think, process information. I help them swallow again, breathe successfully and help them progress to get themselves home again. I establish a relationship with not only my patients but their families as well and I deeply care for all of their well being.
When I graduated with my degree 12 years ago, I had $150,000 worth of student loan debt along with a few thousand in credit cards.

Fast forward to current and I was blessed with two amazing little angels, a bonus son and a loving and devoted husband. The two of us work two+ jobs each week to make ends meet and provide for our home. Despite monthly payments as I am suppose to, I now have $197,845.00 in student loan debt. Because of the payments I also have extensive credit card debt. Child care costs given that my husband and I both work more than full time hours is outrageously expensive. Given the cost of everything right now this is not something that will get much easier at any time in the near future.
At this time, the school district we live in is the bottom of the state for academics. They get zero funding and the programs are falling apart. I am desperately trying to pay off my debt so that we can afford to move to the neighboring school district and give my children the lives they deserve. The chances and experiences they deserve. The chance at a solid education and the joy of a tight-knit community.

I don’t want millions. I just want to be debt free so that the hard earned money I make from caring for all of my patients everyday and working multiple jobs goes to showing my family an amazing life. One that’s filled with time together and chances to volunteer with our community.
The money provided to me will go directly to my student loans and my credit cards first. Then once I am debt free, my goal is to make monthly “pay it forward” events and take my little ones with me to see it unfold. Place $100 inside a pack of diapers, put $50 in the top of a can of formula. Hoping to make ends meet for a parent who is least expecting it. And once I am debt free, I can do this with my own hard earned money to make others feel happy and give them a sense of relief. In total I am in need of  $225,000 to have a clean slate. Please, please consider donating to my family and I and help me achieve these goals. Help me to show my family the amazing things that are available to us. Please help me from the drowning feeling of anxiety from the debt that I’ve encountered just trying to survive…

Thank you, thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading my story and considering helping me!
