When I was 21 I lost my mom to cancer. My dad was never in my life growing up. I was in college and definitely felt like I didn’t know where I was heading or what I wanted to do, so I ended up changing majors a few times. Ultimately, I found a great job that has helped me establish a new life for myself, but I still am dealing with the repercussions of not having a solid foundation as a starting point in my adult life. My students loans take away a large chunk of what I make.
Fast forward, I am now married and my wife and I recently found out that we are pregnant with our first child. I want to build a strong foundation unlike the one I had growing up. My student debt is a burden I would like to put behind me but I am still decades away from making that a reality. I am not desperate, but I still wanted to give this a shot because being able to erase the student loan debt I have would undoubtedly support my goal of being able to provide everything I possibly can to our child.
Anything helps and will go towards my goal of eliminating debt for the purpose of being able to use those extra funds to raise a strong, healthy and happy family.
I genuinely appreciate anyone who can help in any way.
