Hello, I am a 40 year old single parent of an beautiful, talented, Godfill daughter. I’ve managed to give her the best life a single mother could all of her life. Normally, I would be able to bless and care for others in need, but unfortunately my life has hit a series of unseen events that has place me in a terrible crunch within the last two weeks. A week ago my 70 year old father which served in the military was prescribed medication that he didn’t need to be on from the VA which caused us to rush him to the hospital. He was admitted for three days but he made it out fine. Upon bringing him home there was a very noticeable leak coming from my garage. The water tank had busted. I ended up having it repaired which cost $500. Wasn’t that bad yet. Three days later I received a call that my aunt has passed away. So I tried finding affordable plane tickets to north Caroline for me and my daughter. With it being a last minute flight I ended up having to pay nearly $1,300. At this point I still was able to make ends meet and provide. Once back home I had to cough up another $500 to get new breaks place on the car which had now put me in a very rough patch on funds. But I was still trying to hold it together and not let my daughter see that I was struggling and worried how we are going to make it since all of my bill payments are approaching. Then very next day she left to go to her new job and it was pouring down rain. Which blurred her vision causing her to hit the center median at the turn lights. She is completely fine, but now we have a broken-down car that I’m unable to pay to get it back up and running. I’ve literally made it down to our last $25-$50 to get us by. I am seriously drowning and just pray that someone could help this drowning feeling. It’s definitely has me feeling defeated even more so being that today is the tenth anniversary of my mother’s passing. She did everything to make sure all five of her children were taken care. I just want to be able to do the same for my daughter. I’m praying to receive $3,000 to be able to get the car repaired, catch back up on house bills, and have a little cushion to get groceries and grooming necessities to help get back on track. If anyone can help us. I am eternally grateful and will pay it forward to another in the future.
