Hello,
My name is Haley and I’ve been a Stay at home mom for 2 years and my now ex-boyfriend and father of our 2 children left us. This was a complete shock as I had no idea or communication he was going to leave. I have no money at all as he controlled the money for the bills. He wouldn’t allow me to work either. Now that he’s gone I have been applying for jobs and have two promising leads right now and an interview set up for tomorrow. I have also applied for uber eats, door dash and few of the other shopping and delivery apps but in my area there is a waiting list. I am staying at the house that we rent since I am the only one on the lease since I was the one working when we moved in, which made it easier for him to up and go. I will be going up to the courts and that process to put him on child support and that could take a while. He never made the rent payment for July so I am behind right now. I have been in contact with local charities for help on rent with the possibility of eviction and have had no luck as there is a long waiting list. The landlord has given me until August 1st to make both July and August payments or he will file for eviction. I have posted furniture and items we do not need right now up for sale on local pages to help too. I am so grateful that once I have a job I have a family member who can watch my kids without payment until I get caught up with the current bills. My family can’t help with any thing financially since they don’t have it. This has been so hard and honestly I am lost and don’t really know what else to do. I don’t know if there is much else to do but I have to keep trying for the sake of my kids. I really need help with this months past rent and upcoming rent. As well as water, electric, food and basic necessities as I get back on my feet with a job. I would be very grateful for any donations that me and my kids receive.
