Hi and God bless you for reading my post. My name is Donna Johnson and I was born and raised in Orange County, California. I’m 55 years old and have been homeschooling my children the past 16 years. I relocated to Florida in search of a better living environment. I was living with the kids father for many years in hopes that we would get married. Our income is solely based off of me if I can get a house cleaning gig. We sold my car in California and I have not been able to save any money for transportation. I have been earnestly looking for a job with no call backs. It’s literally impossible to find work due to an old domestic violence case from when I was 26 years old. My boyfriend at that time threatened to kill me and when the neighbors called the police, the boyfriend lied and said I was the problem. I was young, naive and scared so I refused to give my side of the story. If only I could go back I would tell the officers what happened but I was scared so I kept my mouth shut. I was put in jail for a month and have a felony on my record. Fast forward to today, I have been raising 4 kids by myself. I have never asked for assistance before. Not ever in my life. If I could just get a car and a little financial help, then I can get back on my feet without struggling. Our electricity was shut off the other day. This is the truth and if you can help me it would be a miracle from God.
