PG&E SHUT OFF

Hello, my name is Jennifer. I am 32 years old, a veterinary technician and mother of 3. I have never done this before and feel a bit of shame in doing so but I need help. Let me tell you about my 3 beautiful kids or little monsters as I’ve always called them. Levi is the oldest, my golden lion. Ever so funny, caring and brave. Since he was 4 he’s dreamed about going into the military. Selfless little boy who always thinks of others. Lanie my beauty queen, book work, violinist and shy kitten. Her music and drive is one I envy. When other kids were playing and making mud pies this little girl was listening to classic music and dreaming of her own violin. Today she’s part of her school drama club and rocking her violin. She wants to mark her place in this world with music notes, a simple but lasting mark I believe. Now to my dreamer Leland, the ever so sweet, innocent and “head in the clouds” little boy. He was 2 when I bought him his first art set. Those cheap little boxes that had markers, pencils and watercolors with some paper. He never put it down. This child blew my mind. The creativity that burst from him was blinding. As time went on he started creating his own characters and style of drawing. He immersed himself in old comics, newspaper comics, picture books and online tutorials. Learning how to blend colors, shadowing techniques, placement and context. My friends have asked for his drawings equally amazing at how this 10 year old could almost close his eyes and create whatever you ask for. Now that you’ve learned about them and seen a small view of what they can accomplish, know that they had to fight to become that way. Our lives have not always been easy but it has finally gotten to a true happy place. I was married to their father for 15 years, highschool sweethearts if you will. But he drank, womanized and was abusive. I can’t count how many times they had to call police or help pick mom off the ground and go hide. I take full responsibility and blame. I tried to leave several times and was able to for 2 years, during that time I earned a degree in Animal Science and for those 2 years it was amazing. But I went back to their father just after my graduation. He showed up and appeared to be “changed” same old story but I truly believed him and wanted to keep my family together. Flash forward to 2017. I finally had enough. I couldnt couldnt my monsters and their father, who refused to work. He would tell me “you have a degree and make more than me, theres no point in me working too” I was exhausted and beat down but I finally got enough courage to leave. I got a divorce but in doing so it left me broke. Between the lawyers and trying to provide for my babies I got behind. My car was repossessed, my student loans went into default and our pge skyrocketed. I made minimal payments and pleaded with every organization I could. But minimal payments just hold them off for so long and because I do work I am not eligible for a lot of the programs used to help pay. Yesterday after getting off work, I was met at the door by my monsters and they told me the power was off. My heart sank. I had started the year with a 2400 dollar pge bill and gotten it down to 1700 and it wasnt enough. I had been paying over 400 a month to catch up and keep it on but yesterday was the end of the road. I dont don paid for another 2 weeks. My babies need hot water and light to do homework. If you find it in your heart to donate I would appreciate it more than I can express. My little ones have been through so much in their short lives. Help me ease their minds that life is not always this cruel. http://Paypal.me/jenniebeans
